Perhaps unsurprisingly, the primal nesting instinct that kicks in at the end of pregnancy was potent fuel for my natural inclination toward obsessively specific shopping searches. If you checked my Google history from this time period, it would reveal a borderline alarming number of hours and keywords logged in pursuit of tiny clothes made with very specific materials in very specific colors. My madness is your reward though, because today I am sharing the fruits of this labor. There are many wonderful contemporary baby brands and retailers I’d like to spotlight in a future newsletter, but today’s post is mainly dedicated to Etsy since it is a particularly great resource for unique handmade and secondhand pieces — my favorite genre.
Included below:
Some context behind my approach to shopping for baby clothes, and the things I think about / prioritize.
Links to all my bookmarked Etsy shops for baby stuff (with corresponding shopping recommendations).
A rundown of the baby clothing search terms I’ve found most useful (with corresponding shopping recommendations).
