Welcome back to Sticky Note, a Gumshoe column where I chronicle what’s “sticking” for me each month. Things like: the outfit I’ve been hyper-fixating on, the individual items I’ve been wearing the most, what’s earned a place on my wishlist, what I’m passionately recommending, and what I’ve spent a lot of time looking for on the internet.

Greetings from Rhode Island, where I’m camped out with my kids for most of the summer. We are living together in a house with my parents, my grandmother, my sisters, and their children. There are five kids under the age of three in total. It is feral and sublime. My favorite time of year.

This month’s Sticky Note includes:

  • My favorite one-piece swimsuits right now

  • An extremely passionate natural deodorant recommendation

  • A summer jewelry fixation

  • First birthday gifts for my daughter
