Yes I have found the quality in the last few years to be great. I have four kids and have been able to pass them down. And I love the sweats. They just posted they will be launching new items in the next month

How is the fabric quality of the Lewis stuff? I ordered jammies for my big kid, now 7, back when Lewis first came out (the prints are so delightful) but after what I would consider normal wear and wash they all look trashed- especially compared to Hanna’s which still look great. Wondering if they’ve updated.

Thank you for the great round-up! ❤️Long time lurking reader from Scandinavia, thought to share some brands that people swear by here!

Kavat: very comfortable, warm and waterproof shoes, every Swedish toddler has at least one pair.

Tikki, Froddo: Comfy barefoot shoes for wider feet.

Garbo & friends: super soft, organic bedwear and clothes with beautiful patterns.

Outwear for the extreme cold/lot of rain: Polarn o Pyret, Kuling, Lindberg, Didriksons.

Dilling: softest merino for layering

Mini Rodini: organic clothes with super fun patterns, they even have some homewear.

Hope someone finds this helpful!

Love this list and want to say Aprikose (www.shopaprikose.com) carry many of these brands online and in store if you’re in Canada! Also a reminder to please not only shop sales but new items as well. Gotta keep those small shops in business somehow 💗

A small brand I miss and stalk obsessively on Kidizen etc. is Fin and Vince, especially for interesting baby boy pieces. So many baby boy clothes are joyless, scaled-down versions of “man clothes” and F&V feel like an updated version of ‘90s Oshkosh in the best way.

Studio Koter is definitely worth a look too. Sustainability at its heart and silhouettes and fabrics are absolutely beautiful. https://www.studio-koter.com/all

Wander + Wonder, Fish&Kids and Jelly Mallow are other fun, great quality brands that haven't been mentioned yet - quite spendy, but worth putting into your Vinted search. Also second Bobux for shoes, we've bought consecutive pairs (sandals or boots) for four years now as my daughter finds them so comfortable.

To add...

- Mini Rodini (available second hand on sites like Vinted)

- Caramel (ditto)

- 1+ in the family

- Oranges and Lemons Jnr (vintage store on Etsy)

- E&E Kids Vintage

- Elfie Kids

And for wide little feet: Vivo Barefeet's Pluma are amazing first walkers, also Bobux, Startrite and Clarks. Buy bendy shoes, no 'adult' branded sneakers like Adidas, Converse etc, as they don't allow little developing feet to move much!

Also!

- Ziggy Zaza (sadly also quite spendy)

- MiniOlie (the gardener patch pants are vg price)

- Kidly

- Mini Boden (often does sales)

- OIivier Kids was my favourite and I miss it so much, keep your eyes out for secondhand! All Liberty print which you would like

Thank you for this list! I’m loving exploring the new world of baby clothes (even though my wallet doesn’t!). Do you have any tips on how to communicate your favorite brands and/or preferences for natural fabrics to friends/ family who want to gift you things? Aside from the registry of course. Do you make your preferences known or just make do when someone gifts you clothes that are synthetic / not what you’d buy for your little one.

This is probably tacky on my part, but I will return or exchange clothes I don't want for my kid. I also just donate things because I know that it is hard to find kids' clothing in good shape at Goodwill or Salvation Army.

AMAZING round up. I love so many of these brands - I second the recommendation to splurge on a Woolino sleep sack (great registry item) and I love the Primary winter jackets that are safe to use in a car seat (many jackets have to be taken off for the child to be safe in the car seat). I've bought my son one each year.

I buy alpaca wool winter bonnets from Esty that have been great for the winter.

I have two boys, and I thought I would be a little sad not to be able to style a girl, but now I want to change my whole career and be a baby boy stylist lol... it's so fun because it's more of a challenge!!!

so good to know about the primary jackets!!! and agreed about stying baby boys, it's very satisfying.

I felt INSANE spending as much as I did on our son’s Woolino sleep sack but it really was worth every penny. Our nursery gets very cold during the winter and I never worried if he was warm enough after we received the sleep sack.
