Hi Harling, really enjoyed your first post! Love the layout, keywords used, and discussion. Came over from Maybe Baby and am looking forward to following along here too. Thanks for the inspiration!
That Pendleton coat is to die for! And I love the variations on a black blazer. Might you be willing to share the origin of the long white skirt with brown trim?
I am so fashion challenged, but I love vintage things and of course deals! I’m always at a loss when I try to shop. I’m already looking forward to your next post. Thank you!
Beyond excited to be reading you on the regular and thank you for shedding light on the blazer situation. I low key stalked it on your IG once. Wasn’t my proudest moment. I’ll be less of a creep here, promise. Love this first piece!
As someone who is often stumped by the hunt for quality, affordable (and interesting!) pieces, I really appreciated reading this. I am wondering how you navigate purchasing clothes you can’t return before you actually get a chance to try them on- do you just have a really great tailor you like?
I recently purchased the J Crew sweater you suggest Harling after this post. I realized I’ve also been gravitating towards 100% cotton sweaters (I also have sensitive skin) and I am in LOVE with it. I got it in mint and then I found it immediately in a bubble gum pink, a baby pink and a very light gray that all fit my measurements - I bought all of them lol. Thank you for this suggestion!
fashion but make it fun *and* useful at once! great read, thanks Harling.
follow up on the silk blazer (fodder for a future letter?): how do you handle sizing, particularly when buying vintage online? i have a hard time with this item specifically. the fit of the shoulders is everything imho but so hard to gauge without trying on.
Great Q - I always check the exact measurements listed and then compare against my own measurements. Most sellers are pretty responsive so if there's anything else I want to know about the item (like a particular measurement they didn't list), I'll shoot them a message.
Love the inclusion of keywords to search for. Enlightenment!
I agree! A revelation of sorts.
So glad you found it helpful!
Great inaugural newsletter! I can tell it's definitely going to be one of my faves. Love the inclusion of the keyword search - really helpful!
Thank you so much!!

So glad you enjoyed!! The white skirt is old Rosie Assoulin.
This is great Harling! Yay.
Thanks so much Pandora <3
